The pet industry is fragmented — microchips, paper vaccination records, and disconnected apps all create inefficiencies and disputes. BioTech Pet set out to unify these functions, but required an enterprise-ready backbone to support:
- AI & DNA Identity Certificates – A secure, non-invasive alternative to microchipping.
- QR Code GEO Tracking – To recover lost or stolen pets.
- TailAVet – AI-driven health, wellness, and behavior insights.

AWS migration & GenAI innovation delivered by RSNA Cloud Connect
To bring BioTech Pet to life, Cedric, CEO & Founder of BioTech Pet, partnered with RSNA Cloud Connect, an AWS Partner led by Salman Razi, Founder & CEO. RSNA Cloud Connect architected both the migration path and the GenAI workload design, ensuring BioTech Pet could launch as a next-generation digital platform. This initiative was further strengthened by the support of Tory Goranson, Senior AWS Business Manager, whose guidance and collaboration from the AWS side helped make the project a reality.
Migration & Modernization on AWS
- Core Databases – Migrated prototype PostgreSQL workloads into Amazon Aurora, delivering high availability and auto-scaling performance.
- File & Media Storage – Centralized pet records, QR code registries, and DNA reports in Amazon S3, encrypted with AWS KMS.
- Event-Driven Compute – Used AWS Lambda to power real-time QR scan lookups and TailAVet health insight generation.
- Container Services – Deployed microservices for Concierge and Passport verification workflows on Amazon ECS with AWS Fargate.
- Security & Compliance – Integrated AWS IAM, Amazon VPC, and AWS WAF to meet compliance needs for identity and health data.
GenAI & Agentic AI Workload Build
- Amazon Bedrock with Amazon Nova (Nova Sonic LLM) – Delivered natural conversational experiences for TailAVet and Concierge, providing instant health, behavior, and service recommendations.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) – Powered by Amazon OpenSearch, indexing DNA and health data for precise, context-rich responses.
- Multi-Channel Interfaces – Built scalable APIs with Amazon API Gateway for integration across mobile apps, web, and third-party platforms (e.g., veterinary clinics and insurance carriers).
- Automated Pipelines – Files uploaded to S3 are instantly classified, parsed, and enriched with GenAI-driven metadata, improving both accuracy and compliance.
